Our So You Think You Can Draw for this week was to create a logo representing the concept of our residential kitchens. I wanted to get the idea of transition, curved shapes and fluidity, inspired by Coastal Wetlands.
These are the axonometric views of the Entenza house. This type of drawing provides a lot of information about about the layout of a building. It's kind of like a combination of a floor plan and perspective. It's easier to understand how a space flows and how rooms connect to one another. I'm particularly happy with how the shade and shadow came out on the black and white drawing. Showing gradient on surfaces is something that I'm starting to work on.
I am a 3rd year Interior Architecture student at UNC-Greensboro. This is an online portfolio of my work and experiences while getting my undergraduate degree.
